Project Manager (6)

 

Locations: WI, TX, IL, OK, AR, NC + Extensive Travel

 

 

$100K-$150K + Bonus

 The Company provides system integration, consulting, engineering and design, construction planning and project management for clients in the aggregate, cement, industrial minerals, heavy metal mining and transportation industries. Project Managers who will manage every facet of the assigned project(s), responsible for obtaining, planning, scheduling, directing, coordinating and supervising construction, subcontractor scheduling, and day-to-day issues. Ensuring an on-time, within budget project execution and no safety issues.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budget through project closeout

Preparation of a project schedule and continually review to make sure the project schedule is adhered to or modified as necessary

Lead, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day management and construction activities of assigned project

Ensure customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client needs

Manage, forecast and analyze project costs through the ongoing evaluation of labor, material, and equipment until project is completed.

Ensure all subcontracts and purchase orders are drafted in a timely fashion

Provide guidance, leadership and direction to all members assigned to project

Requirements:

Demonstrated capability to successfully manage construction projects ideally in the aggregate and mining industry

Advanced knowledge of all general construction methods including but not limited to concrete, ironwork, masonry, etc.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, Mining, or other related field

Experience: Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in the construction industry

Due to varied conditions, must know the MSHA and OSHA hazards and safety requirements.

Lead Engineer- Mechanical Systems Design

Location: Hendersonville, TN

$70K-$100K +Bonus

The Company is an exciting and fast-growing company that provides complete plant systems to customers in the food, mining, and material processing industries. 

Responsibilities:

·         Design complete plant systems including:

o   Create process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams.

o   Generate plant layout and elevation drawings in both 2D and 3D.

o   Work with vendors on equipment sizing and selection.

o   Lead project teams of engineers, designers, and detailers to create high quality fabrication and installation drawings.

o   Review request for bid documents and help generate proposals.

·         Work with project management to create engineering schedules and budgets

·         Become a subject matter expert in plant design.

·         Develop project specifications for all major equipment.

·         Assist project management with site permitting and regulatory compliance.

·         Organize and work with outside engineering firms and equipment vendors.

·         Travel as needed (10-20%) to coordinate work, visit project sites, and inspect installations.

Skills and Abilities:

·         5-10 years of experience designing plant systems, preferably for dry materials.

·         Highly skilled in AutoDesk products: Inventor, Advance Steel, AutoCAD, and Plant 3D.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Mechanical, Process, or Civil Engineering.

·         Professional Engineering License preferred but not required.

·         General construction and process knowledge in material handling.

·         Strong understanding of construction requirements and methods.

·         Experience in structural steel design, metal manufacturing, or machine design.

·         Experience with conveyors, material handling equipment, or material processing equipment, particularly in the mining or mineral processing industries preferred.

Plant Manager

 

Location: Midland/Odessa, TX.

York, PA.

Chattanooga, TN.

 

$100K-$135K +Bonus

Responsible for the management of all aspects of a 2.4 million TPY sand operation.  Lead and manage all safety efforts at the plant as well as site planning, pit development, quality control and maintenance function.  Supervise a workforce of approximately 100 employees.  Ensure compliance with company mandated safety and environmental policies, programs and guidelines as well as regulatory compliance.  Lead management team and group of employees and provide strong leadership, training, team building and supervision.  Manage all mine planning, operational, financial, safety, environmental, personnel, and community relations duties at the mine in accordance with company programs, policies, and guidelines as well as government agencies including MSHA and the EPA.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (preferably Mining or Civil) or equivalent experience

Minimum of five years of plant management experience, preferably in the mining industry managing in a non-union environment

Experience with Statistical Process Control is a plus

Working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety

Solid understanding of operation and maintenance of aggregate and sand processing equipment

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and capable of developing and maintaining good relationships with company and regulatory agency personnel

Strong leadership skills; possess the ability to lead, manage and motivate; have a proven track record for creating employee ownership of safety, production and quality

Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; strong planning skills

Operations Manager

 

Location:  West Virginia

$100K-$140K + Bonus -20%

Coordinates milling production and maintenance priorities.  Assists to enhance the existing Total Safety Culture Program and Environmental guidelines to ensure employee safety and health. Assists with management of the departmental budget and controlling costs. Monitors plant performance, identifies/troubleshoots deficiencies or failures and makes recommendations for improvement. Supervise and direct the hourly work force in their daily activities. Coordinate Operations with the Maintenance Department on all equipment including manpower, supplies, and scheduling to ensure low operating cost and downtime. Communicate closely with the Quarry Mining Department to ensure cost effective operation of processes.  Maintain records to ensure effective scheduling of operations. Assist in purchasing and inventory of reagents and supplies and identification of problem areas. Assist in accurate preparation of budgets and forecasting resulting in proper cost control and business planning. Maintain a competent and effective supervisory and hourly force through effective personnel management and labor relations techniques. Promote better performance of subordinates through ongoing training and communication of ideas, techniques and policies. Ensure that all operational work practices comply with company, State and Federal Safety Standards and Environmental Standards. Interact with workforce and Human Resources, Safety Department, Purchasing, Accounting, etc., to ensure compliance with established company policies. Interact with Engineering Department and Mine Operations to ensure tailings impoundment availability and integrity are maintained. The job requires training or instruction in the area of Environmental Awareness. This job training or instruction in the area of Safety & Health Awareness including completion of the appropriate MSHA training. 

 

BS Degree in Metallurgy/Mineral Processing preferred. 5-10 years (minimum) of prior supervisory experience in union environment preferred. 5-10 years (minimum) of prior sand operations experience preferred.

Production Manager

 

Location: Glasgow, MO.

$90k - $100K

Company is a manufacturer of conveyors and systems for the mining, aggregate and sand industries.  Plan, organize and lead production to ensure high quality products are produced on time and on budget with an engaged safe workforce.  A hands on team leadership role demonstrating flexibility, commitment to customer satisfaction and a willingness to spend significant time on the production floor to ensure success.

Typical responsibilities include such things as; plan production schedules for multiple concurrent jobs, balancing customer schedules, personnel and equipment availability; Ensure quality, health, safety, and conduct standards are met; Manage production budgets, update production methods and procedures, implement cost control programs ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments.

Bachelor degree required in Business administration, management, engineering, or industrial technology.  Five years management experience in industrial manufacturing, capital equipment, metal fabrication, lean manufacturing, knowledge of metal fabrication techniques or related plus solid computer skills.
